A successful Escape Room in the heart of Vienna is recruiting a Game Master on a full-time basis. The Games Manager is a vital key in creating a positive experience for all guests of Escape Room.

Job description

Game Master's Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the running and staffing the business
  • Greet each guest promptly upon their arrival
  • Building the atmosphere of the game
  • Operating games, building and organising game scenes
  • Ensure that the rooms are prepared for the guest experience and are clean and neat after exit
  • Guide guests through their adventure, including a brief synopsis of the game scenario, tracking guest progress through the game, and giving hints when needed to ensure that guests have a successful experience.


Front Office & Promotion:

  • Answer phones, check call reservations and answer E-mails to ensure that all reservations are booked promptly
  • Accept payment from the guests, managing cashier
  • Encourage guests to post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Trip Advisor to increase the visibility of our brand in the market as an adventure attraction
  • Seek guest information that will benefit our marketing efforts i.e. email address, customer demographics
  • Bring creative ideas forward to optimize the environment and experience for our guests, and our employees.

Job qualifications


  • 2+ years working with the public
  • 1+ years supervising others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all guests
  • Present professionally
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office user with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule based on business needs, opening times: Wed-Sun 2-10 PM
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills with customers and staff
  • Ability to safely bend, reach and properly lift equipment/objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use a drilling machine, repairing game elements/objects

Knowledge of German language (written, spoken) is necessary!


  • Speaking the Hungarian language
