A dynamic law firm with offices throughout Yorkshire are currently seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join them for a full-time, permanent role in Dewsbury. The Childcare Solicitor will be joining a well-respected firm who have an established history of delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities of your new role
As Childcare Solicitor in this Family Law team your core duties will include:
- Dealing with publicly funded work;
- Running a caseload from initial instruction through to completion; and
- Dealing with your own advocacy for clients in court.
Candidate requirements
The successful Solicitor will demonstrate:
- 3 years of PQE ideally, but NQ-2 years experienced Solicitors will also be considered;
- Strong experience in Family and Child Care law;
- The ability to conduct your own advocacy;
- Experience of acting on behalf of the guardian is desirable but not essential; and
- Case management experience and strong IT skills are also desirable.
