Customer Service Associate
Summarized Accountability:
Working as part of the Customer Service Team responsible for ensuring customer quote requests are responded to efficiently, customer orders are accurately entered, and delivery requirements are met.
Other customer enquiries are to be dealt with promptly, accurately and efficiently.
Reports To: Customer Services Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of Customer orders in an accurate and timely manner onto ERP system, prioritizing where required to meet deadlines.
- Ensure orders entered have correct and current pricing and paperwork is produced to the Customer’s satisfaction.
- Processing of quotations in response to Customer RFQs in an accurate, efficient manner, ensuring additional charges are also quoted for.
- Deal efficiently with customer enquiries over phone, email, and fax.
- Ensure that Customer Service transactions, customer orders, dispatch notes and proof of deliveries are filed efficiently and accurately.
- Provide customers with Technical and Product information of latest issue, as and when required, and in-line with company procedures
- The Customer Service Associate will liaise with the Warehouse team and Production team, when required, to ensure orders are mixed, picked and despatched, and priorities communicated to enable customer delivery expectations to be met.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and proactive manner to establish delivery expectations.
- Liaise with external and internal suppliers regarding the availability of products.
- Communicate with Warehouse Team, own transport, 3PL Transport companies and carriers to ensure customer delivery expectations are met.
- The Customer Service Associate will interact with Sales Team when required to establish customer requirements.
- Liaise with group Finance team for customer account queries.
- Any other role as deemed appropriate by the Company.

Experience & Education
- Previous experience of working in a Customer Service environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, intermediate / advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure with constantly changing priorities, with a process driven mindset.
- Ability to understand and follow Customer Service processes.
- Excellent Communication skills
