About the role

Here at Babcock we're looking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join the team ensuring the effective delivery of business value from IT projects.

Main Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the implementation of structured project management processes to ensure the effective delivery of business value from IT projects
  • Assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately
  • Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary to achieve department goals.

What do I need to do the role?

You will have demonstrable experience within Infrastructure Project Management and have used both MSProject and Project Server

You will also have a minimum of three years' Project Management experience and have managed 4/5 projects simultaneously.

You must hold PRINCE/APM or equivalent certification.

What else do I need to know?

  • Travel may be required with some overnight stays away from home
  • The role can be based at Babcock Group, Lakeside Portsmouth or Bristol or Devonport, Plymouth.
